Robyn Murphy, MD

Dr. Robyn C. Murphy is a Board Certified Medical Examiner and Radiologist. She received her BS from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. She then received her Medical Degree and interned at the Medical College of Virginia before performing her radiology residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. 

 Dr. Murphy performed a Fellowship in Pediatric Radiology at Babies and Children’s Hospital at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City and has “Additional Qualifications” from the American Board of Radiology in Pediatric Radiology. 

 Dr. Murphy became a member of the Department of Radiology at Morristown Medical Center immediately following her fellowship in 1998.  In 2011 she was appointed an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai, New York, NY.  Dr. Murphy is currently the Chief of Pediatric Radiology at Morristown Medical Center.  

 Dr. Murphy has been voted “Top Doctors for Kids” in 2014 & 2015.

 

Research:

 Smith Kline & French Research and Development Laboratories, Department of Immunology. Internship by Director’s invitation. Research culminated in Honors thesis entitled “The Effect of In Vivo and In Vitro Growth of Tumor Cells on Natural Killer Cells on Natural Killer Cell Sensitivity and Surface Antigen Expression”. May 1987- Aug. 1987.
